KP Astrology Course

This three-month course syllabus is designed to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) astrology, from foundational principles to advanced predictive techniques. Each month builds upon the previous, ensuring a solid grasp of the subject.

Month 1: Fundamentals of KP Astrology 🔮

The first month focuses on establishing a strong base in the core concepts of KP astrology and how it differs from traditional Vedic astrology.

Week 1: Introduction & Basic Concepts

What is KP Astrology? History, principles, and its advantages.
Key Differences: Understanding the core distinctions between KP and Vedic astrology, such as the use of the Placidus house system and the importance of sub-lords.
Planets and Signs: A quick refresher on the natural significations of the nine planets and the twelve zodiac signs.
The 27 Nakshatras: Introduction to the 27 lunar constellations and their planetary rulers.

Week 2: The KP Chart & House Division

Placidus House System: Learning how to read and interpret a chart cast with the Placidus system, where house sizes are unequal.
Cusps and Sub-lords: The most critical concept in KP. Learn how to calculate the cuspal sub-lord and understand its significance in determining the promise of an event.
Reading the Houses: A deep dive into the significations of the 12 houses (bhavas) in the context of KP astrology.

Week 3: Significators & The Rule of a Planet

Significators: Learn how to identify and rank the significators (promisors) of a particular event, based on a planet's position in a house, its sign lord, and its nakshatra lord.
The Power of the Sub-lord: Understand how the sub-lord of a planet qualifies the results of that planet. The sub-lord is the ultimate deciding factor for an event.
Case Studies: Applying the concepts of cuspal sub-lords and significators to real-life examples.

Week 4: Ruling Planets (RP)

Introduction to Ruling Planets: Learn how to use the Ruling Planets (RP) as a powerful tool for birth time rectification and horary astrology (Prashna).
Calculation and Application: Step-by-step process of calculating the Ruling Planets and using them to get precise answers to specific questions.

Month 2: Predictive Astrology & Horary 📈

This month is dedicated to applying the foundational knowledge to make precise predictions for various life events, including an introduction to horary astrology.

Week 5 & 6: Marriage & Relationships

Marriage Combinations: Learn the key house groupings for marriage (2, 7, 11) and how to identify auspicious and inauspicious combinations.
Love vs. Arranged Marriage: Using the chart to differentiate between a love marriage and an arranged one.
Divorce and Separation: Understanding the astrological combinations (1, 6, 10) that indicate separation or divorce.
Timing of Marriage: Using the Vimshottari Dasha system (Dasha, Antardasha, and Pratyantar Dasha) in conjunction with KP principles to pinpoint the exact timing of marriage.

Week 9: Horary Astrology (Prashna)

Prashna Chart: Learning to cast and interpret a horary chart when the birth time is unknown.
Prashna Rules: Applying the KP principles of cuspal sub-lords, significators, and ruling planets to answer specific questions with yes/no answers or precise timings.
Practical Examples: Solving real-life Prashna questions, such as "Will I get this job?" or "Will I recover from my illness?".

Month 3: Advanced Concepts & Practice 🎓

The final month focuses on complex topics and extensive practice to solidify the skills and prepare students for independent chart analysis.

Week 10: Health & Education

Health Issues: Identifying the houses (6, 8, 12) related to illness and hospitalization and predicting the nature and duration of a disease.
Education: Analyzing the chart to determine academic success, field of study, and the timing of educational milestones.

Week 11: Foreign Travel & Property

Foreign Travel & Settlement: Learning the astrological combinations (3, 9, 12) for foreign travel, migration, and permanent settlement.
Property & Vehicles: Predicting the purchase, sale, or loss of property and vehicles.

Week 12: Birth Time Rectification & Revision

Birth Time Rectification (BTR): Mastering the use of Ruling Planets and major life events to correct an inaccurate birth time.
Complete Chart Analysis: A final session dedicated to synthesizing all learned concepts to provide a holistic and accurate reading of a birth chart, from personality to future predictions.
Final Assessment: A practical exam requiring the analysis of a given chart and the prediction of several life events.
